Carolyn Schachtel graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2022 with a BA in Public Policy Studies and minors in Philosophy and Human & Organizational Development. She grew up in New Jersey and spent the previous two years living in NYC and working as an Operations Coordinator with the Center on Race, Inequality and the Law at NYU Law.
Carolyn hopes to write her thesis on the topics of gender, sexuality, embodiment, and artistic creation. Her favorite things include coffee, parks, bookstores, and window-shopping (especially in Paris).
