Megan Ruppel is a master's student from Seattle, WA. She graduated from Wellesley College in 2020 with a degree in Religion and Philosophy. Since then, she has taught middle school at Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT, and run food at two Michelin-star restaurants in New York. Most recently, she's been working for the Asian Rural Institute, an agricultural vocational school just north of Tokyo. Her research interest is language: how it works and what we do with it when it doesn't. She is writing a thesis on Jacques Derrida.
