Samantha Slusher

Samantha received a bachelor’s degree in art history and history from the College of William & Mary in 2019. In undergrad, her studies primarily focused on the material culture and history of 19th century North America. Through Columbia’s History and Literature master’s program, she hopes to continue her interdisciplinary study. Samantha’s research pertains to Pierre Nora’s historical theory Lieux de Mémoire in relation to significant art pieces of the United States.

A New Yorker at heart, Samantha intends to make the most of Paris by spending time in smoky French cafes and visiting museums.
