Tatiana Mezitis

Tatiana Mezitis graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in 2024. Her coursework had been concentrated around art history and the contemporary art market.  She supplemented her studies with a year abroad at the Sorbonne, followed by internships at various art galleries, auction houses, and museums. 

As a Greek-American and an Upper West Sider, Tatiana enjoys discovering new cultures and exploring her surroundings. In her free time, she enjoys visiting art galleries, cooking, spending time with friends, and creating collages.

Paris feels like home to her, and she hopes that her second year in the city of light will be fulfilling academically, professionally, and socially. She is looking forward to conducting thesis research on the commodification of artwork as a marketable asset in the contemporary market. Her goal is to explore the business angle of art history’s evolution, thus honing her understanding of the art world’s social influence.
