Zach graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in History. During his undergraduate studies, he worked part-time at Earl Gregg Swem Library’s Special Collections, served as a curatorial intern with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, and spent a semester studying abroad in Lille at Sciences Po Lille. The study of History and Literature neatly fits with his past experience with and active interest in interdisciplinary research. Zach intends to look at French punk music scenes as potential sites of counter-narratives to French national memory.
His love of music will take him out of the classroom as well, as he eagerly looks forward to attending concerts and festivals in the spring and summer.
