Cate graduated from Penn State University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in French and Francophone Studies and English. After graduating, she completed a teaching fellowship in Boston where she taught middle school history and English language arts.
Through HiLi, Cate aims to explore migration from francophone Africa to France, with a focus on how athletic migration influences postcolonial immigration policy and migratory patterns. In her free time, Cate loves to run, cook, and craft.
