Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jeb graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2026 with a bachelor’s degrees in history and philosophy. A romanticist by inclination, he is primarily interested in the “long nineteenth century,” particularly the history of ideas, culture, and literature from the Enlightenment to the early twentieth century. During his time at HiLi, he intends to conduct further research on mid-nineteenth-century French history and literature. Outside of school, he maintains interests in the arts at large, his beloved pugs, and witty discourse amongst friends.
