Nick is from Melbourne, Australia. He completed his BA in History and French at Cambridge University and has worked as a journalist in London and Dakar. He finds it a little uncomfortable to write about himself in third person. But will do his best. Beyond reading and writing, he loves his family and friends, the ocean, music, movies, beers, Australian rules football and meditation. He hopes to work on a Masters thesis which considers the aesthetic influence of Balzac and Zola on the literary style of Ousmane Sembene.
