Sophia grew up in the Bay Area of California, and received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and French from the George Washington University. After graduating in 2021, she spent two years assistant teaching English in Clermont-Ferrand as part of TAPIF (Teaching Assistant Program in France). Sophia is excited to continue researching rhetoric, collective memory, and the intersection of art, historical events, and contemporary politics. Outside of class, you can find her trying a new coffee shop and/or doodling in her sketchbook.
