Raymond Wu
Raymond graduated from Columbia University in 2026 with a BA in English and Comparative Literature. His academic interests are nothing short of a ramshackle affair. Kicking off college studying philosophy, he later emerged as an armchair archaeologist, a half-baked literary theorist, and an editor of the Undergraduate Journal of Jewish Studies. At HILI, he is giving himself an unfamiliar headache, this time juggling affect theory and psychoanalysis in a study concerning the visual aesthetics of the Polish Film School.
Outside the classroom, he can be found faffing about in Jardin du Luxembourg, spending his evenings at the flicks, or pigging out at a random couscous restaurant. He looks rather short-circuited for most of the day, and, indeed, he is; that said, nothing brings him back to life quite so rapidly as a succulent pint of Guinness or a fluffy-frizzy-furry Clairo single.
