Health Insurance
All students will sign up for a French Student Health Insurance policy during Orientation. It will be valid for the duration of the program. It does not cover psychological sessions nor repatriation.
The AON insurance is approximately 500 euros/year and covers medical costs (doctors, hospitals) including psychological therapy. AON is a European company based in the Netherlands, chosen by most European universities enrolling non-European students, that offers very good coverage in France, during research travels around the world, etc. (however only accidents are covered outside France).
GeoBlue Student Health Insurance is another private option. It is more expensive than AON, depending on the plan, but can cover more.
For more information on private insurance policies to accompany the default French Student Health Insurance, check out their policies or reach out to the HILI Paris-based team.
